Crew transfer vessel powered by BOS Power propulsion systems

Bostek has signed a contract with Oma Baatbyggeri AS for delivery of main engines, ZF 3000 gearbox, and automation system for their new construction, hull 539, M/S FOB8.

M/S FOB8 is a SWAT (Small Water plane Area Twin Hull), and will operate as a Crew Transfer Vessel for the windmill/eolic park.

The end user is the ship owner Offshore Wind service A/S, which is own by the Norwegian shipping company Odfjell Wind in Bergen.
