New contract with Brødrene Aa for delivery of 10 main engines

Bostek has signed a contract with Brødrene Aa AS for delivery of main propulsion engines and automation system for their new constructions, hull 293, 294 and 295.

The vessels will go between China mainland and Hong Kong. End user is shipowner Zhong Shan.

Key data for the vessels and Bostek delivery:

Hull 293:

  • Passenger catamaran, 41 meter long. Estimated speed is 40 knots.
  • Bostek delivery: 4 x 12V 2000 M72 @1080kW and 4x ZF 3050 gearbox.
  • Automation: BlueVision system in engine room and in the wheel house.
  • Classification: CCS (China Classif. Society, VR China).

Hull 294:

  • Passenger catamaran, 41 meter long. Estimated speed is 40 knots.
  • Bostek delivery: 4 x 12V2000M72@1080kW and 4x ZF 3050 gearbox.
  • Automation: BlueVision system in engine room and in the wheel house.
  • Classification: CCS (China Classif. Society, VR China).

Hull 295:

  • Passenger catamaran, 41 meter long. Estimated speed is 35 knots.
  • Bostek delivery: 2x 16V2000M72@1440kW and 4x ZF 5000 gearbox.
  • Automation: BlueVision system in engine room and in the wheel house.
  • Classification: CCS (China Classif. Society, VR China).
